The name

無擷 echoes the Mandarin sound of “innocent” and borrows the character 擷, “to gather,” from an old line of verse. It keeps a little innocence while resisting an answer that arrives too neatly.

Gather what is ripe; leave room for what is not.

No ready-made conclusions—only thoughts still in motion.

This place

The site holds working papers, notes, and film essays. It will grow slowly; an unwritten section simply says “To be continued.”
